(NOM is Mexico's equivalent of CSA or UL certification.  Without NOM, home insurance will be invalid should an accident occur with your non-NOM certified product)

* Distributors of imported products into México must offer warranty and service on their products *
(the moment a product is brought into Mexico by an individual, its' warranty is invalid unless it is specified by the manufacturer to have world-wide coverage)

* Transportation, Administration, Distribution and Warehousing costs *

* Products sold in México are subject to a 16% IVA (value-add) tax at point of sale *
